It is a department concerned with women’s ministry and is dedicated towards serving the needs of women by which they will be able to make a positive impact in family, church and society at large. The WMC is committed to promoting missions, evangelism, and discipleship among women, and to providing support and encouragement for women in ministry. It seeks to accomplish its mission through a variety of programs and activities, such as women's conferences, prayer groups, Bible studies, and outreach ministries. Overall, the Women's Missionary Council is a vital part of the Assemblies of God Church and plays an important role in fulfilling the church's mission to spread the gospel and make disciples of all nations. The department acts also as a strong pillar of prayer that backs the overall activities of the church furthermore, they visit the house of the sick, give encouragement and hope to the broken-hearted and helps new comers in faith to be firm in Jesus Christ our compassionate high priest. Apart from these activities they also extend their helping hand towards deserving widows and new churches. “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
